Pair of Milled Switch Blades
1x Pair of precision CNC milled/machined Switch Blades. Each blade is CNC Milled on one side, then hand finished on the other side with a taper filed onto the head of the rail only (rail foot left intact).
Please choose which rail code you require, along with the planing length (A, B or C, as per the prototype).
NOTE: Code 40 rail is produced in 'Hi-Ni' Nickel Silver, resulting in higher corrosion resistance and more of a steel appearance, without the yellow colour cast of traditional Nickel Silver rail.
Both Code 60 and Code 75 rail uses traditional Nickel Silver rail.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the way these are CNC machined, the planing length will be slightly shorter than shown in a templot template. This is to prevent having a thin and weak blade tip. However, the actual 'angle' of the machined taper is correct. In traditional turnout building, so long as the diverging stock rail is gauged from the opposite switch blade, the turnout will function properly.
